+Damage from Awesome for melee, perhaps?

Seeing as how ranged can capitalize on Deadpool's "spirit is Awesome instead" mechanic, do you think we can make melee like this too?

Perhaps spec'ing into melee can move the bonus damage from Awesome tag FROM Bang Bang TO Flesh Wound and Sai, and also FROM Hulk Hand Arrow TO Cutting Room Floor?

I'd really like to be able to use Deadpool's mechanic (Awesome) without being forced into ranged or hybrid. A true melee build indeed.

@MichaelMayhem you once said [Awesome tag for melee] was a good idea when I mentioned it a long time ago while you were streaming. I hope you still feel that way. Perhaps something you can suggest the team look at?

Ever since the VU for Deadpool, something about him felt somewhat "off", i just couldn't figure out what it was.
Well, it finally hit me, its the swords on his back.
They are too big.
In fact it should be physically impossible for him to draw them, the blades are longer than his arms, sit too high, and it sure wouldn't help that they are curved outwards, instead of inwards (see movie Deadpool).
Reed could draw them, Wade simply couldn't.

Deadpool Quote References

I have looked around a bit on the internet to find some of Deadpool's numerous quotes. While I found a few links pointing to actual quotes, I did not find anything that particularly addressed some of the things he may be referencing when he spouts these obscurities.

Some of the lists were incomplete or may have differed from what myself and a friend thought that we had heard. I'm just creating a fun list to compile some of the quotes and possible references we have heard Deadpool throw out from time to time. Some of these quotes don't seem to have any hidden meaning we recognize but they are included as well. I'll add or update this as times goes on.

On a side note there is only ONE quote so far that neither of us have been able to clearly decipher. In the midst of battle Deadpool will shout something like "It's Bog Day" or "It's Bomb Day" or who knows what. If anyone has any clue as to what he's actually saying, please shed some light! If a Dev would like to clear it up that would be even better!

So here are some of the quote references we've determined. If you know of any others, add em on.

"With great power comes great merchandising opportunity." -A play on Spiderman's motto "With great power comes great responsibility."

"Natural 20." -A reference to Dungeons & Dragons where a roll of 20 on a twenty-sided die indicates a critical hit.

"This is just like band camp." -Possible reference to American Pie.

"For the win!" -Internet slang reference (FTW)

"I tell you, this stuff just KILLS in Poughkeepsie." -Referring to a city in New York. Home to Bananas Comedy Club.

"Shoryuken!" -Street Fighter video game sound that Ken or Ryu made during an uppercut.

"Leeroy!!!" -World of Warcraft reference. Leeroy Jenkins. Long story.

"23 Skidoo!" -1920's slang. Basically means to get going while the getting's good!

"Doh Doh Doh Dah Dah Dah..." -Possible reference to the six note fanfare "Charge" played at sporting events.

"You have died of dysentery." -Oregon Trail reference. If you grew up in the 80's, you know. ;)

"My baby takes the something something train. He works from 9 to 5 and then...." -Sheena Easton song reference.

"Woo hoo...hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo!" -Zoidberg from Futurama, Curly from 3 Stooges, or possibly a Daffy Duck reference.

"I hear once you go Black Panther, you never go back." -Obvious reference to "Once you go black, you never go back."

"To the moon, Alice." -Honeymooners reference.

"I'm a panda. Look it up." -Non-fiction book reference. Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation. Funny reference actually.

"Plus 5 Charisma!" -RPG reference.

"I require more Vespene gas." -Starcraft reference

"In the face!" -Dane Cook reference.

"Herp derp." -Internet "Derping" phenomenon reference.

"It's dangerous to go alone. I'll take this!" -Legend of Zelda reference.

"You want blend or puree?" -Blender speed reference.

"My cuisine rrrrreigns supreme!" -Iron Chef reference.

"Wow, I can't believe you guys got Jean-Luc Picard to be in your game." -Star Trek:TNG reference made about Professor-X. Awesome!!

"My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die" -Princess Bride reference.

"Ya da dada dada ya da dada dada kill kill kill kill beat down beat down beat down beat down face...kick!" -Reference to "Entry of the Gladiators" (aka the circus theme song)

"I'll be back to pick you up later." - Reference to the 70's/80's RONCO "Mr. Microphone" product.

"Oooh Bouncy"- Reference to his own video game with the bouncy castle in it.

"So the duck says, "Got any grapes?" - Reference to the duck song.

"Okay, I guess it's time for me to Wakanda wild side!" - Lou Reed song reference. Walk on the Wild Side.

To Cyclops: "Hey, look everybody I'm BICLOPS! ha ha ha!" -Referencing the number of eyes he has over Cyclops.

To Ghost Rider: "Oh man, I forgot to bring the marshmallows" -Campfire roasting reference.

To Hawkeye: "Oh. Oh. So they let Robin Hood in. But somehow the Avengers keep losing my phone number." -Obvious comparison reference to Robin Hood.

"Hey, I'm all outta jokes...no I'm not."

"Again....again!" (high pitched voice)

"It's bog day!" NEED HELP HERE!

"Wait wait wait...how much XP you worth again?"

"Ahhh ha ha ha ha!!!"

"Eeeh...that supposed to bend like that?"

"Whoops, one of us broke something."

"You know, not every line can be a keeper?"

"Stop me if you've heard this one before."

Obviously we have guns and melee.

A really, really cool Deadpool costume & travel form idea!!!

Hey Gaz, I was just thinking...based off this picture of Deadpool, could we get what he's wearing as a wearable costume and also have 4 arms, each possessing a weapon?
Also, the lotus flower on which he is sitting on, could that be the form of travel - exclusively for the costume he is wearing?
I think that would be super cool.
